Responsibilities:
- Review the initial work scope with the check supervisor and/or maintenance manager (if required) and take over ownership of the project
- Discuss the project work scope with the customer during the whole project time
- Raise defects and scope increases to the customer via sub-quotes of main work order
- Investigate parts pricing in cooperation with logistics department
- Track critical parts with the help of check supervisor and/or maintenance manager
- Open work orders in internal system
- Issue work progress report to customer on a regular basis (once a week)
- Monitor project risk and identify mitigation strategies
- Support check supervisors and leaders during the maintenance project
- Control the hours and material budget of the project
- Work closely together with the billing department to prepare and issue the final project invoice
- Coordinate all required paperwork and documentation for the release to service of the AC (Job cards, work report, log book, etc.)
- Manage customer disputes and escalate to the appropriate level as required
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in aviation industry (preferred)
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience
- Strong technical knowledge in aviation
- Capacity to adapt to a challenging and fast-moving environment, with changing priorities and a heavy workload
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work on several projects simultaneously and to set priorities / taking initiatives when needed
- Computer literate (MS Office, CAMP an advantage)
- Fluent in English (Latvian and Russian is an asset)
- Customer service mentality
